Rafaela at a Glance
Rafaela is a doctor from Canaan in the Augustus region. Two personas — White and Red — share one body. The official CN announcement presents her as an MR Coordinator with a dual attack-and-defense specialization: not a plain DPS and not a pure support, she turns defense into pressure. As an Earth Coordinator she shines when Earth allies hold the line, Block triggers often, and fights last long enough for Death Perception stacks to grow.
Complete Kit
Basic — Phlebotomy Therapy: WHITE deals 157% ATK Earth Physical DMG to the front row, gains +2 Death Perception, a self Shield, and +25 gauge. A CN guide lists the shield as 30% of Max HP while a community transcription lists 30% of ATK — the basis is inconsistent between sources. RED-WHITE deals 157% ATK Earth Physical DMG to all enemies, gains +2 stacks and bonus front damage scaling with stacks (a CN summary lists roughly 5% ATK per stack), and +25 gauge.
Active — Life and Death Determination: WHITE deals 319% ATK Earth DMG to the front and gains +4 stacks. A CN guide adds a front-row Shield scaling with stacks and Disease Immunity that strengthens Elemental Block; another translation adds 151% AoE and dispelling up to 2 debuffs — these extras need client verification. RED-WHITE deals 319% ATK Earth AoE and gains +4 stacks; a community transcription lists 330% ATK extra damage against Water, +15% self damage for 2 rounds, and +50 gauge, unconfirmed at low star tiers.
Passive — White and Red Wings: The two forms swap at the end of every round. When an ally Blocks, transcriptions credit Rafaela with up to 6 triggers per round. In White form she records and reduces part of the damage allies take, then converts part of the recorded damage into a hit when the form changes. In Red form, taking damage triggers a counterattack that grows with stacks (around 200% ATK to the front). Every Death Perception stack grants +1% Final DMG and +1% Final DMG Reduction, up to 50 stacks; her follow-up Shield widens with stacks — 2 lowest-HP allies at 0–20 stacks, 4 allies at 21–40, and the whole team at 41–50.
Critical — Angel and Demon & Earth Resonance: 521% ATK Earth Physical DMG to the front row, +4 stacks, and drains enemy Shields. Her Coordinator Skill, Earth Resonance, grants +20% Earth Block, +20% Block Strength, and +25% Final DMG for Earth; for 2 rounds the back row converts part of the damage allies take into Shields, and while Coordination is active all allies gain a Shield. Sources disagree on the Shield Reflection cap (35% ATK vs 350% ATK versions), so treat the exact cap as pending client UI confirmation.
Build & Star Priorities
- HP & Elemental Block — the defensive 0–3-star core: survive, build Shields, and activate Coordination.
- Block Strength & Final DMG Reduction — strengthens the Block engine that feeds her stacks and follow-ups.
- ATK & Final DMG — the hybrid 5–7-star layer, added only once sustain is safe.
- Investment order — base stats, then fix the frontline/Catherine, then activate the weapon Resonance if available, then evaluate Oath and star upgrades.
Her exclusive weapon is Final Hope; the CN event also offered an SR Prototype Final Hope with lower stats that still activates Resonance — SR availability differs by server, so check local event rewards. The Fusion Battle Emblem (SEA name) has Annihilation variants such as Claw, Adaptation, Heavy Armor, and Resurrection per CN guides. The JP wiki records her Oath, Sanctuary Oath, with Conceal for 2 rounds at battle start and a full Critical gauge. Star map (JP wiki): 0 stars all skills Lv1; 3 stars Basic/Active/Critical Lv2 and Passive Lv3; 5 stars Basic/Active/Critical Lv3; 7 stars Basic/Active/Critical Lv4 and Passive Lv3.
Recommended Lineups
- Earth Sustain / Balanced — Front: Zoya, Catherine, Mirage; Back: Rafaela, Juliette, Honorblade Chiraha.
- Earth Counter / CN Reference — Front: Rorza, Zoya, Mirage; Back: Rafaela, Juliette, Crimsonfall Caroline.
- Earth 5+1 / Utility Flex — Front: Catherine, Zoya, Mirage; Back: Rafaela, Honorblade Chiraha, Scarlett.
Community discussion credits Catherine's healing and shields with carrying Earth teams through the early rounds, and her Block support makes Rafaela's engine more stable. Rafaela and Clara are both Coordinators — do not treat them as the same Coordinator slot; build around one core element so Resonance pays off.
Verdict
Rafaela is strongest in long fights beside Catherine and an Earth Block/Shield core: 0 stars is a utility trial, 3 stars is the damage checkpoint worth evaluating, and 5/7 stars are later commitments after real battle data. The CN announcement lists her event on October 10–23, 2026 — check the SEA client for local timing and rewards before spending. Community tier opinions differ (one Reddit list puts Clara T0 and Rafaela T1), and tier numbers are not official win-rate statistics.
