Akilia is an MR Fire Case in Echocalypse: Scarlet Covenant — a former priest turned gladiator who now works as a frontline sustain support. Her kit revolves around Burn: every Fire abnormality stuck on an enemy grants her Faith, her Blood Mark stops a target's Burn from being dispelled, and frontline overhealing turns into Shields through Survival Instinct. This guide covers her complete kit from official CN sources and the JP wiki, the 0–7 star matrix, builds, Fire lineups, and her lore.

Akilia at a Glance

Akilia is an MR Fire frontline sustain support. Three things define her: an anti-dispel Blood Mark that keeps a target's Fire abnormalities from being cleansed while the mark lasts; Burn-based scaling — the more Fire abnormalities her team applies, the more often her defensive kit triggers; and positioning flexibility, since CN recommendations run her in front slot 3 or back slots 5/6. She heals, raises Heal Received, and converts overheal into Shields, but she is not an absolute main tank and can still fall quickly if forced to absorb every burst alone. Regionally she is also transcribed as Akiria or Aquiles; her prototype is the Arabian Wolf, her faction is listed as Nebu / Gravelgold Alliance, and her birthday is October 3 at 169 cm per the character poster.

Lore — The Priest Who Became a Gladiator

Before the war ruined her life, Akilia belonged to a group of priests who meditated regularly; the calm she shared with her companions remains her most treasured memory, and meditation is still her most important habit. The war then reduced her to a slave, thrown into an arena against beasts in duels that often took fellow captives' lives. Akilia hates violence — precisely because of that, she is painfully aware of her paradox: to stay alive, she must keep winning brutal fights. For her, victory is not the greatest joy; the quiet after a battle is what she values most. As her fame grew, she realized the crowd also hoped to watch a painful defeat, even her death. So she began staging her duels theatrically — appearing gravely wounded while actually controlling the fight, then turning the tables when everyone thought she was finished. Her deepest question is not whether she can win the next duel, but whether she can break the cycle of violence and live free again — the theme behind her Critical Skill's name. One detail — that she was sold in the Nazca region, bought by Caroline, and performed against beasts with the Chimera Circus — comes from the Japanese community wiki, not from text confirmed directly by the event announcement.

Core Mechanics — Burn, Blood Mark, Faith, Survival Instinct

Four effects matter. Burn / Fire Abnormality is the damage-over-time Fire abnormality that feeds most of Akilia's passive interactions. Blood Mark raises the Fire abnormal damage a target takes, and while the mark is active the target's Fire abnormalities cannot be removed by dispel. Faith stacks are gained when enemies receive Fire abnormalities and build toward team healing and shields. Survival Instinct raises Heal Received and converts excess healing into Shields, with a higher conversion for Fire recipients. Without Fire members who apply abnormalities often, Akilia loses Faith uptime and skill tempo — her ceiling shows next to a consistent Fire carry. Accuracy note: Blood Mark protects the Fire abnormalities on the marked holder per the skill text; it does not globally protect every debuff on every enemy, so make sure the mark lands on the priority target.

Complete Kit

Basic Attack — Out of the Cage (high-level summary): 217% ATK Fire Physical DMG to the target column; applies 1 Burn for 2 rounds to the front row in that column; grants Beast Arena Insight to frontline allies for 2 rounds; restores 25 Pneuma. At maximum-level transcription, frontline allies carrying Beast Arena Insight recover HP equal to 300% of Akilia's ATK every round. Base effects below maximum level still need checking.

Active Skill — Bloodied Performance (high-level summary): 441% ATK Fire Physical DMG to the target column and 1 Burn for 2 rounds. Grants a protective effect to the two lowest-HP allies, places Blood Mark for 3 rounds on two enemies prioritized by their Fire abnormality count, and restores 50 Pneuma. High-level Blood Mark mechanics: the target takes +30% Fire abnormal DMG; its Fire abnormalities cannot be dispelled for 3 rounds; when an enemy unit takes Fire abnormal DMG, part of that damage converts into healing for an ally with Survival Instinct — 30% normally, 50% if the recipient is Fire, up to 5 uses. Source discrepancy: a CN source describes the Active's protection as a Heal of 20% of Akilia's Max HP to the two lowest allies, while another transcription describes a Shield of 20% Max HP — SEA UI verification is needed.

Passive — Unbreakable Faith (high-level summary): whenever an enemy gains a Fire abnormal state, Akilia gains 2 Faith stacks, triggering at most six times per round. Each stack raises her DEF by 10%. At six stacks, the effect converts into team recovery/protection and the stacks are consumed — a TapTap CN guide lists a team Heal of 20% of Akilia's Max HP, while a Spanish transcription lists a Shield of 20% Max HP. At battle start, the frontline gains +30% Heal Received; 50% of overhealing becomes a Shield, rising to 100% for Fire recipients; the effect lasts 2 rounds, and up to 4 rounds for Fire. Akilia gains +20% Final DMG Reduction at battle start, and each enemy carrying a Fire abnormality grants her +5% Healing and +3% Final DMG Reduction. With Survival Instinct on the frontline, excess healing is not wasted — it turns into Shields, which is why a Fire frontline fits Akilia better than a team with no Fire at all.

Critical Skill — Fight for Freedom (high-level summary): 720% ATK Fire Physical DMG to the target column, applies 2 Burn for 2 rounds, restores Akilia's own HP (she gains Survival Instinct on herself for 3 rounds; some transcriptions list a self-Heal of 20% Max HP), heals the frontline for 30% of Akilia's Max HP with overheal converting to Shields for Fire targets, and applies Life and Death Resolve for three rounds to the two highest-HP enemies: those targets take +30% Fire DMG received, and after receiving the Critical Skill, an additional 20% of damage becomes abnormal DMG for 3 rounds — 50% if the attacker is Fire, up to 3 triggers. Community analysis calculates that under specific conditions the extra abnormal portion can equal 65% of the calculation base ((1 + 0.30) × 0.50 = 65%); that is a community calculation interpretation, not an official statement that every hit always gains +65% total damage.

Star Matrix & Investment Targets
StarsBasic / Active / Critical / Passive
0 starsBasic Lv1 · Active Lv1 · Critical Lv1 · Passive Lv1 — base kit at Lv1; learn the Burn rotation and support role, never treat max-level values as starting stats
3 starsBasic Lv2 · Active Lv2 · Critical Lv2 · Passive Lv3 — the CN guides' recommended breakpoint, especially for Survival Instinct
5 starsBasic Lv3 · Active Lv3 · Critical Lv3 · Passive Lv3 — stronger reach/coefficients and sustain; exact numbers depend on the client
7 starsBasic Lv4 · Active Lv4 · Critical Lv4 · Passive Lv3 — the Fire damage-extension and protection ceiling; Active Lv4 actually unlocks at 6 stars

At 0 stars Akilia already has the Fire-support framework, but the anti-dispel bonus and maximum healing from high-level summaries cannot be assumed active at the same numbers; her realistic role is a secondary Burn enabler who must survive long enough. At 3 stars, CN analysis credits Passive Lv3 with stronger frontline healing support and the overheal-to-Shield mechanism, with Active Lv2 also open — the Burn to Faith to Heal/Shield loop becomes far more relevant for Fire frontlines and mid-to-long fights. Judge an upgrade by total HP/Shield converted, how many rounds the frontline stays alive, and Blood Mark consistency on key targets — not by Akilia's Combat Power alone. The unlock matrix is not proof of damage numbers: many nominal values for levels 0–6 are still placeholders on the wiki, so claims like "0-star 441%" or "3-star 720%" should not be made without per-star SEA screenshots.

Build & Positioning

  1. Frontline support — HP, Final DMG Reduction, Armor/Resistance, Healing Effect: for Akilia in front slot 3 who must stay alive; a tanky support who survives is worth more than a full-ATK build that falls early.
  2. Backline utility — HP, Damage Reduction, Healing Effect, then ATK: the priority when Akilia dies too easily, guarding her Blood Mark utility and healing from back slots 5/6.
  3. Fire pressure hybrid — HP, ATK, Fire abnormal synergy, sustain: once survivability is safe and the Fire roster has sustained damage.
  4. Dou Hun weapon & further investment — the 0-star weapon is already useful (when an enemy Evades, it can heal the lowest-HP ally); the 5-star weapon adds healing up to 20% and a frontline Shield, plus bonus Fire damage back to the backline when enemies dispel Burn; the final tier is claimed to add up to 45% backline Fire damage and Fire vulnerability, pending verification. Weapon stars are not character stars — do not merge the two investment costs.

The official infographic guide does display module recommendations, but module names and effect text cannot be checked consistently from the image — so this guide does not claim one mandatory module set. Start with defensive/HP choices, then see whether Healing or Burn uptime becomes the bottleneck. Keep scaling straight: some healing scales with Akilia's HP while her Basic coefficient scales with ATK. The SR prototype weapon from CN event missions has lower stats than the MR version but still activates Resonance. CN guides also mention an Oath Skill, "Fight for Love", granting an opening Shield to the frontline (a high-level evaluation lists 30% of Akilia's Max HP) and 20% Elemental Crit Resistance, plus a Crossglow effect that can lower enemy Fire damage reduction by 30% for 3 rounds — its unlock details and official SEA name are unverified. Do not confuse the CN announcement's "Exclusive Maid" permanent shop costume with an Oath outfit.

Recommended Lineups

  • Fire Burst / DoT Core (High Synergy) — Front: Akilia, Lilian, Elisa; Back: Jane, True Dragon Weiyang, Flex defensive. Akilia locks Burn and sustains, True Dragon Weiyang carries, Jane amplifies damage; reshuffle rows after testing who gets focused.
  • Fire Stability / Mixed (Safer Mix) — Akilia, Lilian, Jane, Elisa, True Dragon Weiyang plus Scarlett: Scarlett contributes Water durability/utility while five Fire units keep abnormality application high; a template for finding balance.
  • Budget / Transitional Fire (Lower Investment) — Front: Akilia, Lilian, Frontline flex; Back: Jane, Elisa, Damage flex. Not everyone owns True Dragon Weiyang — prioritize units you have already built, then add a Fire carry and one extra protection unit for your roster.

Akilia's three core partners are True Dragon Weiyang (Fire burst), Jane (Fire damage amplification), and Elisa / Lilian as Burn layering candidates — the first two are also the main partners in CN analysis. These formations are editorial starting frameworks, not a universal ranking tested for every server.

Verdict

Akilia is a specialist Fire support, not an all-purpose must-pull: open rounds should land Burn on priority targets quickly while protecting her from instant burst — never field her as the main tank if she cannot survive. Against dispel teams her Blood Mark holds real strategic value; against anti-Heal, test whether the Shield conversion still works; her worst risk is dying before Faith and her protection develop. In long boss fights she shines when Burn applies consistently, and in non-Fire teams her anti-dispel and Faith mechanics rarely reach full value. Pull priority: 0 stars is a fair trial for Fire teams as long as you do not judge her by 7-star text; 3 stars is the sensible target, mainly for Survival Instinct; 5 stars only if sustain and Fire burst are still problems; 7 stars is an expensive ceiling for players with mature Fire partners. If your roster is dominated by Water, Wind, or Earth, compare her resource efficiency against supports of those elements before chasing duplicates.
